The challenge

In tailored design, Kimma often receives a broad brief—automation, lower energy use and easier operation—while actual sequences, local-control duties, integration boundaries and fault responses remain undefined. A point list alone cannot close those gaps.

  • We first study building use, equipment relationships and operating practice
  • Sequences, setpoints, interlocks, alarms, trends and manual authority are then defined
  • Our team sets the control, network and supervisory architecture with clear interface ownership
  • Equipment schedules, points, diagrams and sequence documents are cross-checked
  • Testable acceptance criteria are written and refined against site constraints

The outcome

The result is a coordinated design package that can support selection, pricing, procurement, programming, commissioning and acceptance. Owners, contractors and specialists share the same definition of what the system must do and how it will be verified.
