CASE STUDY / Event & Cultural Venue
Northeast China Convention Center
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Control relationships organized around real building use.
This event & cultural venue development supports large conferences, exhibitions, reception and event support, with a system scale of approximately 2,000 I/O points. The building automation scope includes heating, central plants and large-space air-handling units, fresh-air, exhaust, pumps, valves and public lighting, freeze-protection logic, alarm trends and event modes. We integrated equipment, organized control relationships and coordinated commissioning around actual building use and operating schedules, giving the operations team a clearer view of equipment status, alarms and trends.
SYSTEM SCOPE
Building automation coverage
heating, central plants and large-space air-handling units
fresh-air, exhaust, pumps, valves and public lighting
freeze-protection logic, alarm trends and event modes
OUR WORK
Turning system scope into equipment, logic and commissioning.
We delivered the related BMS scope, including large-space AHU control, freeze-protection logic, equipment coordination, commissioning and acceptance support.
DELIVERY CHALLENGE
Site conditions shaped the delivery path.
Severe winter conditions, large-space load changes and event schedules required robust freeze protection and rapid mode changes.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHT
Complex system relationships made clear and maintainable.
The main characteristic is freeze-protection logic combined with flexible operating modes for large public events. During delivery, we coordinated equipment relationships, control logic, schedules and site interfaces, while using zoning, alarms and trend data to make system status easier for the operations team to understand. The completed system supports day-to-day use and provides a practical basis for continued maintenance and optimization.
